Client Account Specialist
Salary £20k-£25k per annum plus competitive Over Target Earnings (OTE).
This is an exciting opportunity to join a young, fast-growing business which provides environmental compliance services for manufacturing, importing and retail customers. We are responsible for helping businesses to meet their compliance obligations for waste packaging, electrical equipment and batteries, and are looking for talented individuals to seek out and support additional customers.
The jobholder will ideally have some experience of pro-active selling in account management, client liaison or similar roles, with excellent communication skills. This is a sales position, but the ability to assimilate complex regulations and to interpret these for clients is essential both for maintaining our high standards of service and communicating with and converting potential clients. A technical background in science, engineering or law would be an advantage.
Particular duties include:
- achieving the sales targets for new business;
- contacting prospective customers to qualify leads and obtain sales;
- managing the sales process including cold calling, discussions with clients to identify their needs, providing quotations, and closing the sale;
- utilising negotiating skills with customers to maximise sales opportunities and profitability.
Based at our head office in Bristol, you will report to the Business Development Director. The job is likely to particularly interest technically-minded graduates who wish to embark on a career in business, or experienced individuals who would like to apply their client account development skills in a supported environment.

Commercial Manager
Salary £30k-£35k per annum.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a young, fast growing business which helps manufacturing and retail companies comply with environmental legislation. Budget Pack provides environmental compliance services for over five hundred businesses with obligations to recycle packaging, waste electrical equipment and batteries.
The purpose of this job is to manage Budget Pack’s commercial relationships with recycling and waste management providers in order to ensure the cost effective and environmentally sound provision of all collection, recycling and recovery services.
Particular duties include:
- Negotiate, secure and maintain contracts and relationships with providers of collection services and recyclers;
- On behalf of the Client Team, act as the strategic engagement contact for all operational support;
- Contribute to the development of tenders and contracts for new business;
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that all providers are appropriately accredited in relation to their responsibilities for waste management;
- Assist the Operations Manager to resolve contractual and commercial issues and act as deputy when required;
- Obtain and record evidence from processors for compliance with Packaging, WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and Batteries regulations;
- Supplier analysis to create positioning strategy & risk assessment reports;
- Work with all team members to achieve Budget Pack’s goals.
Based at our head office in Bristol, you will report to the Operations Manager. The role is likely to particularly interest commercially minded professionals who would like to progress further and apply their skills to growing a young business in a dynamic environment.
