Budget Pack Members First to Comply with WEEE Regulations (06/06/2008)

Budget Pack sent its 2007 WEEE Declaration of Compliance to the Environment Agency this week. Budget Pack is one of the first compliance schemes to issue its Declaration, demonstrating it has met its members collection and recycling obligations.

Many other producer compliance schemes are still trying to obtain sufficient WEEE evidence to satisfy their members’ obligations. Budget Pack planned well ahead in order to obtain sufficient evidence to meet its members’ obligations. Through secure competitively priced contracts we have met our members’ obligations well ahead of the government’s extended deadline of 16th June. The submission deadline was extended from the 1st June due to the Environment Agency delaying notification of compliance schemes’ final obligations. 

We are part way through the 2008 compliance year, however Budget Pack members can rest assured we already have contracts in place to meet your 2008 obligations.
The end of the second quarter of the 2008 compliance year is fast approaching and we will be shortly be sending you a request for your sales data.
